FAANG is the popular acronym for the market's five best known and out performing tech stocks and shares: Facebook, Apple, Amazon, Netflix and Alphabet's Google. FAANG was derived from the original acronym, FANG. It did not include Apple when CNBC's Jim Cramer originally came up with the term. Currently, the combined market value of FAANG exceeds $3 trillion.
